A teen-parent iPhone contract

Last Christmas, Janell Burley Hoffman bought a new iPhone for her 13 year old son Gregory. What made this typical gift different was that it came with a 'contract'. Janell's original post describing the contract appeared in The Huffingtonpost and receivedinternational attention, including coverage in one of my town'snewspapers.

I was impressed, and I am not alone; at the time of writing, over 102,000 people had Liked the article on Facebook. In this post I explain why I like it.
